With 15 years of experience in the Atlassian ecosystem, there's not a lot that Jamie hasn't seen. 3 years of Atlassian administration followed by 12.5 years working as a Consultant and Consult Team Lead at Adaptavist have provided Jamie with a wealth of knowledge and understanding across the many unique and, in some cases, strange use-cases of the Atlassian tools.
Supported by a MMath in Mathematics from Warwick University, Jamie pairs an analytical approach to problems with a chatty and relaxed consultancy style, helping to uncover the true value proposition associated with any given challenge.
"My very first Jira Workflow back in 2010 was a work of art - 15 steps, huge amounts of ScriptRunner automation, a joy to behold. Within 2 weeks we were so inundated with exceptions to the business logic, we ended up replacing it with a simple 5-step process. It's a lesson I keep with me to this day, and it informs every engagement I'm on - keep it simple, and, more importantly - a Jira workflow is not the same as a process flow"
Krisz has been a Sys Admin, QA Engineering Lead, and has most recently had a brief 8-year tenure as a Consultant with Adaptavist.
With technical specialisations in Atlassian configuration, migrations, automation and integrations, Krisz has led teams engaging with major enterprise-level organisations across the world.
Krisz's ability to translate technical jargon and know-how to be easily digestible by business-oriented stakeholders has helped him facilitate smooth communication between all team members during engagements.
"I thrive on challenges, from hands-on-keyboard coding projects to create truly unique integration pieces, or liaising between senior stakeholders and international teams of technical users to deliver the best results for the engagement at hand. In short, I aim to help however I can to get things moving."
